I'm not quite sure your question, but I suppose you need a name and an address to register a car. Using company to register a car is quite common.
To register a car in NSW, you need
1. complete a form for for transfer of registration
2. The valid certificate of registration. The seller must give you this along with the car after you pay.
3. some document like passport & electrical bill to prove the information you provide in 1.
4. turn up in a local RTA with 1,2 &3. You don't need the seller go with you.
RTA is a State authority. Various State could have different requirements. The procedure and needs should be similar in other States, I suppose. To confirm that, check out the RTA site.

if you plan to get an Australia Driving licence at 09, why don't get it now and save all this hassle?
Better do it earlier than later, at least you will save on insurance
